* Please note that you will enjoy the services of two private vehicles and guides while at Chitabe Camp. Chitabe is a luxurious tented camp built on one of the most beautiful islands in the Okavango Delta, on a private concession that is bordered on three sides by the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is surrounded by waterways and lagoons, which host a variety of wildlife.

Accommodation consists of eight spacious walk-in tents that are built on elevated wooden decks, beneath the lush leafy forest canopy. Each tented room has a ceiling fan, en suite facilities, an outdoor shower, and a wonderful view. The thatched dining room, living room and bar areas are also raised on decks overlooking the surrounding flood plains. There is a plunge pool for cooling off during the day.

Activities consist of game walks, and day and night game drives in open Landrovers, accompanied by an experienced guide. There is a hide on the property where guests can enjoy wildlife viewing away from a vehicle. Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Reedbuck, Lechwe, Impala, Zebra and Hippo are among the major game attractions of the area. One of the main highlights is the prevalence of the very rare and endangered African painted dog in the area; guests on the Chitabe concession have more chance of seeing these beautiful animals than almost anywhere else in Africa.

Duba Plains is situated in the furthermost reaches of the Okavango Delta, beautifully located on an island surrounded by expansive seasonally flooded plains and shaded by ancient Ebony, Fig and Garcinia trees. This pristine 77,000 acre private concession is the home-base of renowned National Geographic film makers Dereck and Beverly Joubert who chose Duba for its abundant wildlife and exclusivity.

The camp is small and intimate, with accommodation for only fourteen guests. Its five tented suites are raised on wooden decks, with ceiling fans, en suite bathrooms (with both shower and sumptuous bathtub), and private verandas overlooking the floodplain, replete with private plunge pool and shaded sala. The two bedroom Duba Plains Suite enjoys the added advantages of a private safari vehicle and guide, private chef and private butler. Common areas include an expansive, raised dining room and bar area, a comfortable lounge, library, and wine cellar, with numerous private spaces for guests to absorb the safari ambience.

Activities at Duba Plains focus on day and night game drives in specially adapted Land Cruisers. Duba has been referred to as the "Mara Plains of Botswana" for the sheer volume of game that resides on its fertile flooplains, and predator viewing can be a highlight. Being outside the boundaries of the Moremi Reserve, park rules do not apply, and guests may enjoy night drives and walking safaris. Motorized boating and catch-andrelease fishing are available during the peak of the flood (typically May to October).

16 January 2027

This morning (8:30am) you will be collected from your hotel for a half-day private tour of the City of Cape Town and Table Mountain, including entrance fees. Your guide will collect you at your hotel and take you to the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest building in South Africa, with its beautiful collection of old Cape paintings. It is home to the Western Cape Command and the Grand Parade, where Nelson Mandela made his first address to the nation after his release from prison in 1990. With
this backdrop, your guide will provide a brief orientation on the fascinating history of Cape Town and South Africa.

You will then be driven to the lower cable station at Table Mountain. Here you will have the opportunity to board the new Rotair cable car that takes under 5 minutes to reach the summit of the Mountain, 1036 meters above sea level. From the summit you will experience the spectacular views of the city and surrounds. If weather prevents the cable car from operating, your guide will take drive you up Signal Hill, from where you will also enjoy breath-taking views.

Next, the tour visits the moving District Six Museum, which highlights the horror of the forced removal of citizens from their homes in that district during the 1960’s. The museum contains a collection of memorabilia donated by former residents of the area and their descendants.

Finally, you will make your way back to your hotel via the colorful and historic Bo-Kaap District. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice followed by the afternoon at leisure. This evening you will enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

17 January 2027

This morning (9:00am) you will be collected from your hotel for a full day private tour of the Cape Peninsula, including lunch (with beer, wine and soft drinks) and entrance fees.

The tour begins with a drive along the Atlantic Seaboard coast, past the seaside suburbs of Clifton, Bantry Bay and Sea Point, and the beach of Camps Bay. You will stop along the way to enjoy magnificent views of the Twelve Apostles, along the Atlantic coast side of Table Mountain, before traversing Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world. Continue past Noordhoek's beautiful beach and the town of Kommetjie to the tip of the Cape Peninsula, from where you can walk (or ride) the funicular to the lighthouse at Cape Point. From this vantage point, you will enjoy spectacular views of False Bay and the tumultuous meeting point of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. Enjoy lunch at Two Oceans restaurant along the
coast. You then proceed to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where your guide will drive off the main road to the untouched area of Olifants Bay. Interesting bird species include the African Black Oystercatchers and Avocets as well as endemics such as the Cape Sugarbird and Protea Canary, as well as various Sunbirds. From the south-western tip of the continent, you then proceed north to historic Simonstown, South African naval headquarters, and Boulders Beach, home of the only penguins found on the continent of Africa, the African
jackass penguin.

Your return to Cape Town takes you along the False Bay coastline, by the seaside towns of Muizenberg St.James and the fishing village of Kalk Bay before returning to the Waterfront. 18 January 2027

This morning (9:00am) you will be collected from your hotel for a full day private tour of the Cape Winelands, including entrance fees and a picnic lunch (weather permitting) at Boschendal (including beer, wine and soft drinks). This morning you will be collected at your hotel by your guide for a full day exploration of the Winelands region, nestled below the spectacular Boland Mountains about 50 minutes’ drive from Cape Town. One of the day's highlights will be wine tasting at the Fairview Wine Estate, nestled against the Paarl Mountains, with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and landscapes. There are also many shops and galleries to explore.

The tour will next take you to the historic estate of Boschendal, boasting some of the most beautifully preserved Cape Dutch buildings and period furniture of the Cape. The estate offers insight into how the early Cape settlers lived. You will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at Boschendal. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to stroll through Franschoek, a small town nestled in the "Valley of the Huguenots," where the French first settled in 1688, with its lovely antique shops and gardens.

At the end of the day, you will be returned to your hotel. This evening you will enjoy a farewell cocktail party at the Mount Nelson Hotel in the Greenpark Room, followed by a three course dinner with wine included (a selection of white and red wines will be available).

7 January 2027
This morning you will be met in the hotel lobby by Menzies Aviation and assisted back to the international terminal, through check-in and security, and to the boarding gate for your onward flight. Check in for your Airlink flight 4Z482 to Livingstone, departing at 10:50am and arriving at 12:35pm. You will be met and transferred by private vehicle to Toka Leya. This evening you will enjoy a sunset cruise, with cocktails, on the Zambezi River. The Zambezi River is the 4th largest in Africa after the Nile, Zaire and Niger. Its source is in North Western Zambia, and the River flows approximately 1,750 miles to its mouth in Mozambique, where it delivers its water into the warm Indian Ocean. It is a wide, attractive River dotted with islands and
sandbanks, and the stretch of River preceding the Falls is bordered on the Zimbabwean side by the Zambezi National Park.
Relax and enjoy the riverine vegetation as you glide along one of the most unspoiled major rivers in the world. The birdlife is excellent, and you will cruise past hippo and occasionally crocodile. In the drier months, wildlife such as elephant and many antelope species can be seen grazing on the River banks or swimming across to the smaller islands.

7-9 January 2027
Spend two nights at Toka Leya Camp in Tented Rooms, on a fully inclusive basis (Including accommodation, 3 meals daily, local non-premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, laundry, 2 activities per day including a river cruise, a game drive into the Park, a tour of the Zambian side of the Falls, a tour of Livingstone town and museum and a visit to a nearby village and local curio shops).
* Please note that you will enjoy the services of two private safari vehicles and guides at Toka Leya. Toka Leya Camp is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in the eastern sector of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, some 12km upstream from the Victoria Falls. The camp nestles between mature shade trees on the banks of the Zambezi, and has been sensitively designed with minimal impact on the riverine forest and wildlife movement patterns.

Accommodation consists of 12 safari-style tents, each en-suite and with a magnificent view of the Zambezi River. The camp's dining and bar area are under a canopy of jackalberry and waterberry trees overlooking the River, and there is a swimming pool.

Activities include a sunset cruit on the Zambezi River on your first afternoon, and tour of the Falls and rhino tracking excursion the next day. At over a mile wide wide, Victoria Falls is the most expansive curtain of water in the world, dropping more than 300 feet into the sheer Zambezi Gorge. The Tonga and Makalolo peoples lived here for centuries before the Falls were 'discovered' by David Livingstone in 1855, who named them after his queen. Its local name is Mosi-Oa-Tunya, "the Smoke that Thunders," reflecting the huge spiral of spray that can be seen from 20 miles away.

8 January 2027
This morning you will enjoy a privately guided tour of the Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and is arguably the greatest waterfall in the world. David Livingstone was the first European to visit the Falls and named it after Queen Victoria, but the local name is perhaps more descriptive - Mosi oa Tunya (meaning “the Smoke that Thunders”).
The falls break the path of the languid Zambezi River, causing this tranquil expanse of water to erupt into a cauldron of spray and deafening noise, as the river plunges over a chasm over a mile wide and 350 feet deep. When in full flood (February to May), 130 million gallons of water tumble over the Falls every minute, then seethe through a series of narrow gorges for approximately 5 miles, offering some of the world’s most exciting white water rafting and excellent photographic opportunities.

This afternoon you will enjoy a "Walking with White Rhino" safari in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, with entrance fees and refreshments included. This is a unique and rare opportunity to experience the thrill of walking in the African bush, and to view endangered animals in their natural habitat. The Walking Safari experience starts early with collection from your hotel and transfer to the Park. On arrival you will be met by an escort Scout who will accompany the group on a short drive to the starting point for the Walk. While enjoying a cup of tea or coffee with a fresh muffin, your Guide will provide a full briefing on what you can expect to see, how to get the most from the Walk, and the Do`s and Don’ts whilst walking. You will be walking at a leisurely pace and can stop as frequently as you wish, to ask questions and discuss any aspects of interest. In addition to white rhinos, there are various other species of big game that you may track and encounter. Cold water is supplied on the Walk, and half way through your Guide will stop at a suitable spot for refreshments, consisting of homemade lemonade with cake and cookies to recharge energy levels. At the end of the Walk you will meet up with the transfer vehicle at a predetermined spot where an ice cold soft drink will be waiting. You will then be transferred back to your hotel. The whole excursion is roughly four hours in duration.

9 January 2027
This morning you will be collected transferred by private vehicle to Livingstone Airport.
You will be met and transferred by shared charter aircraft to Kasane Airport (approximately 25 minutes). From where you will be transferred by shared charter aircraft to Chitabe Camp (roughly one hour)
