Smaller in size than the state of Pennsylvania, Iceland is an extraordinary country that manages to pack a lot into a little. With a dynamic and ever-changing landscape, where volcanoes and glaciers continue to reshape the topography a little each day, this isolated country at the top of the world often feels like its own planet. Enchanting visitors with its colorful landscapes and equally colorful inhabitants, its unique history and bottomless charm, year-on-year Iceland remains an incredibly attractive destination. Explore the funky capital of Reykjavik, the world’s most northerly capital. Make a stop at the impossibly blue waters of the soothing Blue Lagoon, where you’ll have the chance to soak up its renowned healing properties. Enjoy a closer appreciation of the volcanic forces that shape the country by descending 400 feet into the heart of Thrihnukagigur, a dormant volcano. Explore the majestic landscapes of the Silver Circle, a land of volcanic lava, waterfalls, glacial rivers, hot springs, and rich in Viking history and legends. Discover the famed black sand beaches of Iceland’s picturesque South Coast, find yourself walking inside of a glacier and enjoy the natural treasures of the fabled Golden Circle, including the stunning Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir, and historic Thingvellir National Park. Indeed, Iceland is a country stippled with natural phenomena.

DAY 1 - WED, SEP 09, 2026: REYKJAVIK
The Adventure Begins
Meet your private driver-guide and vehicle for an airport transfer. For your added comfort, your English-speaking guide will help you with your hotel check-in and take you through your travel documents.
A welcome package with your itinerary and any relevant documents or tickets required for your trip will be provided to you on your arrival in destination.

DAY 2 - THU, SEP 10, 2026: REYKJAVIK
Venture Into The Outdoors
Departing from your hotel with a private guide and vehicle, embark on a tour of Reykjavik to uncover the city's most fascinating sights. Catch beautiful views of Reykjavik's landmark mountain, Mt. Esja, most visible from the northern waterfront. Admire the stark and modern City Hall, standing proudly on the shore of Reykjavik's small central lake, Lake Tjornin. Spot the 19th century Althingi, home to the world's oldest parliament, and see the stark white Hofdi House, built in 1909, location for the historic 1986 summit which effectively marked the end of the Cold War. You'll visit the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church - the largest in all of Iceland. This mid-20th century cathedral is Reykjavik's main landmark structure, its peak visible from almost everywhere in the city. Out front you can spot an impressively intimidating sculpture of Leif Erikson, donated by the United States in recognition of the discovery of the New World by Norse explorers from Iceland. Your tour will also include a visit to one of Reykjavik's celebrated museums: the National Museum, displaying objects that provide insight into Icelandic cultural history. Time permitting, you'll have the option of visiting the Asmundarsafn Sculpture Museum, featuring works by celebrated artist Asmundur Sveinsson.
Your journey leads through rugged lava fields to the Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral-rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness. The Blue Lagoon is known for its special properties and its beneficial effect on the skin, and attracts visitors from all over the world in search of health and relaxation. Stop for a refreshing bath or swim in the pleasantly warm mineral-rich water, reputed for its healing properties. At the end of your you,r you will be brought to your hotel. Includes entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon and towel rental.

DAY 3 - FRI, SEP 11, 2026: REYKJAVIK TO SELFOSS
Explore With An Expert
Depart on a full-day private transfer to Selfoss, discovering the iconic wonders of Iceland’s Golden Circle along the way, the country’s most famed touring route. Set out with your private driver-guide from your hotel and start the day with a visit to the Geyser geothermal area, where the famous Strokkur geyser erupts every few minutes, sending hot water soaring up to 100 feet in the air. Next, marvel at the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s most striking and photogenic falls, fed by the Langjokull glacier’s meltwater. For lunch, you'll be treated to a memorable experience at Fridheimar Farm Greenhouse, where you’ll learn about innovative greenhouse cultivation techniques and savor a delicious meal featuring the farm’s homegrown tomatoes. DAY 4 - SAT, SEP 12, 2026: SELFOSS
Sights and Insights
Meet your private guide and embark on a full day tour of Iceland's extraordinary South Shore, renowned for its black sand beaches and waterfalls, and sweeping vistas. Over the course of your day, you'll set out along the famed Ring Road to admire the picturesque Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, cascading down 200-foot drops. Seljalandsfoss presents a unique opportunity where you'll actually be able to walk behind the wall of water for a stunning photo. Nearby, you'll arrive to the town of Vik where you'll bear witness to the iconic towering basalt column cliffs, one of Iceland's most photographed spots. Gaze out to the Renisdrangar rock formation offshore, then admire black sand beaches as far as the eye can see from the elevated Dyrholaey Nature Reserve. Take some time to yourself to go for a peaceful walk along one of the beaches, a perfect time to reflect on just how magical this country is. Conclude your day on arrival back to Selfoss.

DAY 5 - SUN, SEP 13, 2026: SELFOSS TO HUSAFELL

The Silver Circle features volcanic lava, waterfalls, glacial rivers, and hot springs all steeped in rich in Viking history and legends. Marvel at the spectacular Hraunfossar, where water appears to burst through lava formations, and the brilliantly-blue Barnafoss falls. Experience the power of Deildartunguhver, Europe’s mightiest hot spring, and discover more hidden gems along the way. Contine to Krauma geothermal baths where you'll be treated to lunch prior to a soak in the wonderful baths. The hot water of the baths originates in Europe’s most powerful hot spring Deildartunguhver, at a temperature of 100°C, blended with crisp glacier water from the Borgarfjordur highlands. DAY 6- MON, SEP 14, 2026: HUSAFELL
Hidden Gems
Meet your private driver at your hotel and set out on a once-in-alifetime adventure, joining a shared excursion that will bring you to the untouched beauty and raw natural landscape of Langjokull, Iceland's second-largest glacier. Admire the glacial environment as you ascend the slopes of Langjokull in a specially-modified glacier vehicle, riding to the top of the 368 square-mile gargantuan which you'll get to experience from both the outside, and the inside! Breaking into smaller groups, you'll get to enter the man-made ice tunnels that were bored into Langjokull, giving you a unique opportunity to see the beautiful blue ice at the heart of an ice cap glacier. This takes glacier exploration to a whole new level with unique guide insights, and incredible photo opportunities. Conclude with a return transfer to your accommodation.
